Dr. Ricardo J. Hernandez was born and raised in Miami, FL and graduated from Belen Jesuit Prep. School. He obtained his bachelor's degree in neuroscience at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and then attended Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico where he graduated with honors. After medical school, Dr. Hernandez completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Hernandez trained extensively in all the currently available EP procedures with the newest technologies in the field.
